An estate agent's job is to sell your house. After all that is how they earn their commission...however Garrett & Bradly are so much more than that! They are salesmen yes but they are also mediators, counsellors, sounding boards, flak takers...the list is endless. We were fortunate to meet Jon during a property viewing. My husband had arranged a different agent for the sale of our house but I really liked Jon's natural and non pushy approach. I am incredibly put off by pushy sales people but Jon was polite, approachable and very un estate agent like! We had 2 houses to sell and the first one went extremely smoothly. The second one could not have been more different and my goodness did this company earn their commission! Everyone told me we were unlucky. I wondered what all the fuss was about with the first property sale but with the second I absolutely knew why people say it is the most stressful thing you can do in life. It took 19 months and 4 different buyers before we succeeded. I am naturally pushy, impatient and analytical....not good traits when going through this process! Jon was amazing throughout even when he was my sounding board for my frustration, disappointment and, at times, anger. Jon is the most approachable, unflappable and professional estate agent I have ever come across. How he managed to navigate us through the some of the situations involved I will never know but we got there in the end. We were unlucky with much of what happened in our selling journey but we were lucky to have met Jon at the beginning of the process. A huge shout out also to Tom who dealt with all the after sales issues....what a can of worms we opened time after time. Tom had everything in hand and was always ahead of the game and promptly responded to my emails. Both Tom and Jon were always available to help me with any enquiries we had regarding with our purchases and not just the sale of our house. These guys really don't just sell your house and leave you to it. They are with you every step of the way. I said to Jon several times through the process that I do not know how they do their job...they are piggy in the middle in the most emotional game in the world. If anyone is considering Garrett & Bradly to sell their home...just do it ...seriously don't hesitate. They sell your home ...and then some!

Extremely professional service from start to finish. John, who handles marketing properties in my area, was approachable, straight talking, and very knowledgable. And Tom, who took over after my sale was agreed, went above and beyond to deliver great customer service with frequent updates and prompt communication. Their pricing is competitive, the team are much friendlier and more helpful than the national chains, and I would strongly recommend using Garrett & Bradly to anyone in the wider Bristol area looking to move home.

I wasn't going to bother writing this review but my mind has changed seeing as the fallout from dealing with this company has now lost me my current house I am in I went to Garrett & Bradley as I felt like I trusted them as a company after they handled my case the first time round, which unfortunately fell through just before completion due to issues out of anyone's control. So when I came to use them for the same sale again I thought I was in good hands. Same thing happened again costing me thousands of pounds, however this time we got to the stage of completion, all legal fees paid for, searches, everything ready to complete...and it turns out that my buyer had no mortgage offer the entire time. No due diligence was done on the estate agents end to check that they had an offer when informed, even though there had been lack of transparency from my buyer from the start , which was a massive red flag Long story short, they cost me thousands and I am now having to move back home with my parents in my mid thirties, and with a big debt on my back. I can now no longer afford to fund selling my property and my future is hanging in the balance. Cheers guys! Happy new year....
